As Earth Day was recently celebrated, it’s important to continue to carry that spirit with us. The trees and singing birds can easily go unnoticed on a busy schedule. Take a moment to admire nature within your everyday route. Look at the trees, the pattern on their trunks, foliage, height, and colors. Close your eyes and listen to the birds. It makes such a difference to admire all that goes on without worry.
My friends and I visited the largest Torrey Pine Tree in the world during our visit to Carpinteria, California. What a wonder to see and experience something that’s been around since the 1800s. It makes me wonder, what has it seen in all the years of its life?
