Deep in the Scottish Highlands

In early September, we went to the UK with a pitstop to Scotland. Overcast and rainy, we drove up north surrounded by mountains, lakes, and fields of grass where Highland cows and sheep roam for miles on end.

Of note was our visit to the Old Man of Storr, a tall pillar of rock on the island of Skye. We trekked all the way up to the lookout point for a stunning panoramic view atop the rocky mountain and body of water that connects to the Atlantic. Overall, Scotland was magnificently breathtaking and a peaceful respit to city life.
