Hi there! We’re so glad you’ve found your way here. We’re Cesar and Sarina, the humans behind One Hot Minute.

Our story started long before our first farmers’ market stall. We both grew up surrounded by food that was more than just something to eat — it was culture, family, and memory. Cesar was raised on the bold, comforting flavors of Peruvian home cooking. Sarina grew up with the balance, tradition, and depth of Chinese dishes. Somewhere along the way, we realized the flavors we carried with us could actually come together — and when they did, something new and exciting was born.

That’s how our Peruvian-Chinese fusion cuisine came to life. It’s not something you’ll find in a traditional recipe book. It’s a little bit of our past, a lot of experimentation, and a whole lot of love.

This journal is our way of opening the kitchen doors to you. Here’s what you can expect:
