Taking a Moment to Celebrate

It was recently Cesar’s birthday (Happy Birthday Cesar!) and one way we celebrated was by taking a ceramics workshop on how to build small figurines. It was hosted in the beautiful outdoor space at Erika Glazer Community Garden. The class was taught by Taty Hernandez, an outstanding artist and dear friend of ours, which made it that much sweeter!

Since Cesar loves the Slime character from the video game Dragon Quest, he decided to make one. As a gift to him, I made a Slime container to hold his Slime inside. It was our first time taking a ceramics class together and it was such a fun and new experience!
