Workshops is an event created to give back to yourself. It’s a chance to set apart time and feed your inner creative soul through hands-on activities. It’s all tied together with a social aspect to create a space for knowledge sharing and get to know our neighbors.

Workshop Details:
In this beginner/novice friendly class, we will cover basic flameworking hollow form shaping to create a bottle. This class introduces hollow shaping techniques, lip shaping, blowing, and opening hollow forms. We will focus on safe torch use, heat control, and understanding heat base, gravity, and centrifugal force in a hollow context.

Lydia Leung is a flameworker of 11 years specializing in functional hollow forms and botanical sculptures. They are excited to share the craft of flameworking with more people.

- Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early, as we will meet collectively to introduce ourselves.
- All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else.
