Workshops & Community Craft is an event created to give back to yourself. It’s a chance to set apart time and feed your inner creative soul through hands-on activities, whether you sign up for a class or if you have a project you’ve been meaning to work on. It’s all tied together with a social aspect to create a space for knowledge sharing and get to know our neighbors.

Painting Plant Pots

Sarah Ganzhorn

Workshop Details:

Attendees will learn to apply acrylic mediums to terracotta plant pots.

Sarah Ganzhorn is a multidisciplinary artist and plant enthusiast. She's excited to share tips on decorating indoor plant pots with acrylic mediums.
Workshop Policies:

Herbalism and Tea Making

Workshop Details:

In Yasmeen’s workshop, participants will explore the foundations of herbalism and hands-on tea making. Each attendee will create and take home their own custom herbal tea blend, thoughtfully bagged and ready to enjoy.

Meet Your Instructor:

Yasmeen is the founder of PITIT, a plant-centered lifestyle brand inspired by her journey as a mother and herbalist. Through PITIT, she shares this approach by formulating plant-based teas and products and sharing practices that honor balance and connection. In this workshop, Yasmeen will guide you through the basics of herbal healing and the art of tea making, offering both practical skills and a deeper relationship with plants as everyday allies.

Timepiece Jewelry Making

Workshop Details:

Learn to make your own functional clock jewelry piece.

Attendees will:
1) Choose timepiece style (wristwatch, necklace, pocketwatch, earrings)
2) Choose timepiece(s) + learn how about the battery replacement process
3) Choose chains
4) Use prep station to take measurements + cut chains
5) Instructor-led assembly as a group and 1:1 setting

Attendees will take home their own piece of functional clock jewelry: a wristwatch, clock necklace, pocket watch or clock charm earrings. Attendees will learn how to create their jewelry utilizing jewelry making findings & tools, chain spools, and learn how to maintain the timepieces they have chosen.

JXWELS BY JAZZ is a queer-owned semi-fine jewelry brand serving one-of-a-kind + small-batch pieces made for everyday wear. Think waterproof, irritant-free metals and real materials only (pearls, gemstones, glass — never resin or plastic).

Jazz is an LA-based artist who has been active in the city’s art market scene for 3+ years, and they’re excited to share some of their skills with our community! Show up & create your own functional timepiece: a wristwatch, pendant necklace, pocketwatch or a 1-of-a-kind set of earrings <3

Join us for Community Craft, a relaxed, welcoming space to create alongside other makers.

Bring a project you’re working on, meet new people, and enjoy the inspiration that comes from gathering. There is no set curriculum or instructions, just time to make, share, and connect.

Don’t have a craft in mind? We’ll have watercolors ready for anyone who’d like to paint cards.

Get ready for a day full of creativity, connection, and hands-on fun!

*If you plan to bring a home sewing machine, please mention it in the ‘Note’ section so we can make sure there are enough outlets available.
